ARMS4elderly showcased at BEHEALTH 2025 – Hospitals from Home: Ageing in Place

The ARMS4elderly project was recently featured at BEHEALTH 2025, during the panel “Hospitals from Home – Ageing in Place”, organized by ROHEALTH – The Health and Bioeconomy Cluster.
Daniela Blecher, representing Assuta Ashdod Innovation (Israel) – the project’s coordinator – shared insights into how ARMS4elderly is advancing remote medical services for elderly individuals across Europe.

The project focuses on reducing avoidable hospital admissions among elderly populations by integrating telemedicine and remote diagnostic technologies into traditional healthcare systems. Its approach promotes continuity of care, empowering older people to remain independent while ensuring they receive timely and high-quality medical support.

Through collaboration between leading institutions in Israel, Denmark, Italy, and Romania, ARMS4elderly is developing innovative, evidence-based models for remote healthcare delivery. These efforts directly contribute to the EU4Health objectives of strengthening healthcare systems and promoting equitable access to care.

By participating in BEHEALTH 2025, ARMS4elderly reinforces its mission to create inclusive, people-centered healthcare solutions — bridging innovation, research, and policy to improve health outcomes and quality of life for ageing populations.
